Canadians for CANDU Co-Chairs & Ambassadors

Founded in 2024, Canadians for CANDU® is a national movement dedicated to advancing Canadian nuclear technology and strengthening Canada’s long-term energy sovereignty.

Led by Co-Chairs The Right Honourable Jean Chrétien, The Honourable Mike Harris, and The Honourable Dustin Duncan, the movement brings together leaders from industry, labour, education, healthcare, Indigenous organizations and communities across Canada who share a belief that Canada’s energy future should be built on Canadian technology, Canadian expertise and Canadian resources.

Together, Canadians for CANDU is advocating for a stronger, more secure and more prosperous future powered by homegrown innovation built by Canadians, for Canadians.
