Canadians for CANDU Co-Chairs & Ambassadors

Founded in 2024, Canadians for CANDU is a national movement dedicated to advancing Canadian nuclear technology and strengthening Canada’s long-term energy sovereignty.

Led by Co-Chairs The Right Honourable Jean Chrétien and The Honourable Mike Harris, the movement brings together leaders from industry, labour, education, healthcare, Indigenous organizations and communities across Canada who share a belief that Canada’s energy future should be built on Canadian technology, Canadian expertise and Canadian resources.

Together, Canadians for CANDU is advocating for a stronger, more secure and more prosperous future powered by homegrown innovation built by Canadians, for Canadians.
