John D’Angelo serves as President of Kinectrics, where he is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and driving long-term growth across its global operations. He provides leadership in advancing Kinectrics’ commitment to safety, quality, operational excellence, customer success, and talent development, while guiding the organization through a period of significant growth and industry transformation.

With nearly 40 years of experience in the nuclear and energy sectors, John has been instrumental in the evolution of Kinectrics from its inception to its position as a leading provider of engineering, testing, inspection, and technical services. A founding leader of the company, he has held progressively senior technical, operational, and executive roles since joining the organization in 1986. His career reflects a unique combination of deep engineering expertise, operational leadership, and strategic business acumen, enabling him to drive innovation, expand markets, and build enduring customer and industry partnerships.

John holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and serves on the Kinectrics Board of Directors and subsidiary boards. He is also Chairman of Isogen, a member of the Green Ribbon Panel and serves on the Boards of Directors of the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) and the Nuclear Laboratory Partners of Canada (NLPC), where he contributes his extensive experience in nuclear operations, business leadership, innovation, and industry strategy.
