Sahil Gupta is Managing Partner of Fermi Solutions, a Canadian nuclear engineering company specializing in CANDU technologies and the delivery of engineering, project management, and field execution services across the nuclear project lifecycle. With more than 12 years of experience in Canada’s nuclear industry, Sahil has built his career delivering innovative engineering solutions that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nuclear facilities. 

His expertise spans field execution, project engineering, fluid mechanics, thermal hydraulics, and the design and analysis of advanced reactor technologies, including supercritical water reactors (SCWRs). Throughout his career, he has combined technical excellence with practical project delivery, helping clients address complex engineering challenges across new-build, refurbishment, and operational nuclear projects. 

In addition to his industry experience, Sahil has a strong research background, having authored multiple peer-reviewed technical publications and received prestigious awards recognizing excellence in nuclear engineering. He is passionate about advancing the application of nuclear technology to meet evolving energy needs and is committed to strengthening Canada’s domestic nuclear engineering capability through innovation, collaboration, and the development of practical, technology-driven solutions. 

Sahil holds both a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from Ontario Tech University and continues to champion the role of Canadian engineering expertise in supporting the long-term success of the country’s nuclear industry.
